See full FAQs in our FAQs section. When drying flowers in floral preservation, flowers typically will dry darker or will sometimes change color completely. For example, red roses will dry dark red or even black. Proteas will go from pink to more of a dusty rose color. Lilies will dry yellow. White roses will dry an ivory color. Every flower is different depending on their moisture level. Proteas, sunflowers, lilies, and dahlias lots of moisture in them, so we offer the option to color correct if you would prefer them to look similar to the original color. We can’t guarantee exact color match and they will tint darker when encapsulated in resin. This lightens them prior to be placed in resin
